Group excursion will take in highlights such as the new SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which the firm designed

PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, has announced that it will take a company-wide trip to Abu Dhabi this October, highlighting the firm’s passion for exploring and creating memories, as well as celebrating the achievement of its team.

A visit to the newly opened SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which was designed by PGAV, will be the highlight of the excursion. The park is huge, covering two million square feet inside a five-story structure, and it is home to the biggest aquarium in the whole world. Eight themed realms carry visitors from Abu Dhabi’s shoreline to the craggy cliffs of the Pacific Northwest and beyond, all while paying close attention to the health and well-being of the creatures that call those habitats home.

In his review of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Robert Niles of Theme Park Insider described the experience: “In Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld finally has a park that rivals Disney and Universal for immersive environments. It’s a stunning reimagining of what a SeaWorld park can be.”

Meanwhile, blooloop’s Charles Read called it a feast of visual wow moments, saying: “Its scale and ambition are phenomenal, with the layout structured to give visitors one WOW vista reveal after another, with plenty of interesting angles along the way….With cutting-edge technologies, immersive theming, rides and experiences and state-of-the-art animal research and conservation facilities, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is truly a game changer for both the SeaWorld brand and the wider theme park industry.”

PGAV appreciates the team’s ten years of dedication to the project as well as their teamwork, knowledge, and ingenuity. By visiting together, the team will be able to reflect on this landmark undertaking, swap tales about its conception and execution, and find inspiration for their forthcoming projects.

Shared experience will spark inspiration and promote cross-cultural understanding

During the trip, PGAV team members will have opportunities to widen their perspectives by immersing themselves in a rich and varied culture. Being exposed to new experiences and cultures is beneficial for a firm that conducts business worldwide, helping to promote cross-cultural understanding. The chance to strengthen the spirit of cooperation and togetherness at PGAV via the creation of shared experiences is extremely valuable.

All three divisions of the company, PGAV Destinations, PGAV Planners, and PGAV Architects, will be on the trip with over 260 employees and their guests from St. Louis, Orlando, and Kansas City.

PGAV’s CEO, Mike Konzen, says: “We know creative people draw from their life experiences. Exploring Abu Dhabi together will be a transformational opportunity, enhancing our team dynamic and forming even stronger relationships with one another. It will be an unforgettable experience that will inspire, motivate, and celebrate our team. We’re excited to have the ability to provide this tremendous opportunity for our team.”

The United Arab Emirates, including Abu Dhabi, has been working to position itself as a centre for entertainment, the arts, and tourism for the past 20 years. This strategy has resulted in the opening of new world-class attractions, such as Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World, and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre, and the Qasar Al Watan Presidential Palace will all be included during the trip.

Last month, PGAV announced that it has appointed Venita Davidson as its new global talent acquisition specialist. This strategic appointment demonstrates the firm’s dedication to acquiring top-tier talent and solidifies its position as an industry leader.
