Event Network, a leading operator of retail stores for experiential attractions in the US, is collaborating with Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals to launch a 'round up' donation initiative.

Through this partnership, shoppers at more than 200 Event Network-operated hotel and resort gift stores across the US can round up their purchases to support life-saving care for children in the local community.

Meaningful experiences

This programme reflects Event Network’s commitment to giving back to the communities in which it works.

At similar round-up initiatives at its museum, zoo, aquarium, and cultural attraction stores, visitors donate more than $1.8 million each year to support Event Network’s nonprofit partners.

In expanding this purpose-driven programme into the hospitality sector of its business, Event Network highlights its belief that every retail touchpoint offers opportunities to make memories and give back.

Annie Bennett, chief culture officer at Event Network, says: "At Event Network, we believe memories are made every day in the incredible places where we are proud to work.

"We’re honored to help guests carry those memories home. By partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we’re extending that mission of creating meaningful experiences beyond our doors.

"Every donation will help make a difference in a child’s health in their local community, and we’re proud to be part of such an important cause."

Collective impact

Established in 1983, CMN Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals throughout North America.

Donations benefit children’s hospitals in the communities where they are collected, with every dollar helping to provide vital treatments, pediatric medical equipment, research, and charitable care.

In total, CMN Hospitals has raised more than $8.5 billion and supported millions of children.

This programme underscores Event Network and CMN Hospitals' shared dedication to community engagement, human unity, and the transformative power of small acts.

Now, launching head of the holiday season, visitors can collectively change lives with the simple act of rounding up their purchases at Event Network’s hospitality stores.

Maci Hanson, corporate partnerships director for CMN Hospitals, says: "This is an incredible opportunity to grow our impact and partner with a leader in the retail and hospitality space.

"Event Network’s commitment to year-round giving is a testament to their culture of generosity. This partnership will bring vital funds to our member hospitals, which will provide life-saving care and resources for kids across the country."

This collaboration marks a key step in Event Network’s journey to redefine 'experiential retail' not only as a place of discovery and memory-making, but also as a platform for meaningful change.

In September, Event Network announced a new partnership with Ridwell, a company that helps households divert hard-to-recycle items from landfill.
