Game Volt, the product division of CONDUCTR, the UK-based innovation studio, has introduced Carnival Games, a new set of supercharged funfair attractions designed to help operators capitalise on the growing trend of competitive socialising and carnival-themed entertainment.
The launch occurs as modern midway concepts continue to gain popularity in the industry. Although operators have observed the success of these experiences, they have limited options to incorporate similar attractions into their own venues.
Carnival Games: The Supercharged Funfair was created to fill that gap.
Traditional gameplay, modern tech
Carnival Games, built on Game Volt's technology, modernises traditional physical gameplay by incorporating smart personalisation, dynamic game mechanics, and integrated competition features that aim to keep players engaged for longer.
The system acknowledges achievements, highlights key moments through live action replay, and responds to guest interactions, making experiences more engaging and rewarding.
Operators can set up tournaments, team competitions, and group challenges to promote repeat participation and increase dwell time, particularly for corporate groups.

Carnival Games is a ready-to-use solution that features booking integrations, scoring APIs, venue customisation options, and ongoing support.
The collection now offers up to 16 games, enabling operators to develop anything from a single attraction to an entire midway, with additional games and experiences already in the pipeline.
Designed for operators and players
Matt Daly, head of partnerships at Game Volt, says:
"We've spent a lot of time looking at what makes modern fairground attractions successful. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we've taken the best bits, evolved them using technology and built something that works for operators as well as players.
"The category has already proven itself. Guests love these experiences, and operators can see the value they bring. The Supercharged Funfair gives venues access to that opportunity in a format that's flexible, re-themable and modular.”
The first installations of Game Volt's Carnival Games are currently in production and are set to launch in 2027. Made in the North West of England, Carnival Games is part of a product line installed in over 250 locations worldwide, backed by an experienced team and reliable technology.
Attendees at this week's IAAPA Expo Asia in Hong Kong can meet the team behind CONDUCTR and Game Volt. Last month, CONDUCTR also announced that it has been selected to create a new immersive media experience for Land’s End and The Needles in the UK.
