LCI Productions, a leading multimedia show design and production company, has announced a new contract with Bangladesh-based developer UCC Infratech.
Under this agreement, the company will deliver a series of immersive dark ride theatre attractions as part of Bangladesh's growing investment in tourism, leisure and educational entertainment infrastructure.
The project supports a broader government-backed initiative to expand access to high-quality leisure and edutainment experiences, as the country continues its journey towards developing nation status and accelerates investments in tourism, culture, and visitor attractions.
Long-standing partnership
With this new agreement, LCI Productions will design and deliver immersive multi-seat dark ride theatre experiences with wrap-around projection environments, high-resolution visual content, spatial audio systems and a variety of environmental effects including wind and scent.
With this rollout, audiences at multiple locations across Bangladesh will be transported into story-driven adventures, expanding access to engaging educational content for millions of guests.
The contract bolsters the long-established relationship between LCI Productions and UCC, one of Bangladesh's leading developers of tourism, leisure and attraction projects.
The two companies previously partnered on Bangladesh's inaugural large-scale water screen and fountain show at the Swadhinata Stambha Complex within Suhrawardy Udyan Park in Dhaka.
Situated at one of the nation's most significant historical sites, the story of Bangladesh's independence and national development is told through a combination of fountain effects, water-screen projection technology, and distributed audio systems.
The free nightly show has become a popular public attraction, encouraging longer visitor dwell times and enhancing engagement with the adjacent cultural assets.
'Inspiring curiosity and learning'
The new dark ride programme marks the next chapter of Bangladesh's ambitions to create a thriving experience economy, supported by investment in leisure, entertainment and lifestyle infrastructure.
"We are delighted to continue our partnership with UCC on another landmark project for Bangladesh," says Rob Paul, design director at LCI Productions.
"Our collaboration began several years ago with the Swadhinata Stambha water show, and it has been exciting to see the country's vision for tourism, culture and educational entertainment continue to evolve.
"This latest project demonstrates how immersive attractions can be used as powerful tools for education and engagement.
"By combining compelling storytelling, advanced visual technologies and multisensory effects, we are creating experiences that entertain audiences whilst also inspiring curiosity and learning."
Having played a key role in many of Bangladesh's leisure and attraction developments, UCC continues to support projects that elevate the country's visitor economy and cultural offerings.
LCI Productions has delivered immersive experiences, multimedia attractions and destination-based entertainment projects globally for over 30 years. It crafts story-led attractions that meld physical and digital environments through projection mapping, dark rides, water-screen shows, interactive technologies, and multisensory effects.
A phased installation of the Bangladesh dark ride programme is planned, with further details to be announced in due course.
Recently, LCI Productions shared insights into its design and delivery for Port Lympne Illuminated, the inaugural festive trail at Port Lympne Safari Park in Kent, UK.
