Adventure Attractions, an experienced manager, operator, and developer of visitor attractions, is celebrating the reopening of The Castle Pantry at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset, UK.
The newly renovated tea rooms officially launched on 22 August, with a menu which features treats such as traditional high tea, cream tea, and much more.
Delighting visitors
After assuming management of the business, Adventure Attractions has refurbished The Castle Pantry to provide a brand-new appearance that combines the elegance of a classic British tea room with contemporary amenities. Originally constructed in the 1950s for Claretian monks, the facility was converted into public tea rooms in the late 20th century. It is now set to greet visitors with its cosy, welcoming ambience once more.
Chris Liddard, general manager of The Castle Pantry, says: “We have been incredibly happy with the response and warm welcome received so far and grateful to everyone who came to the grand opening.
“We are excited to welcome locals and tourists alike and aim to delight our visitors with our delectable food options.
“The Castle Pantry will also serve as a versatile venue for various events, from intimate gatherings to community functions.
“By collaborating with local suppliers like the award-winning Shelley’s Bakery, which was recently recognised as one of the top five bakers in BCP [Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole], the tea rooms ensure high-quality products for their patrons.
“To foster a sense of community, The Castle Pantry has introduced a loyalty reward card for regular visitors and is inviting local groups and clubs to consider hosting meetings or small events at the tea rooms. We are keen to become a key local community hub.”
Earlier this year, Adventure Attractions was announced as the new name for Openwide International. This brand represents Openwide’s expansion and diversification over the last 32 years, with the tagline ‘Discover Adventure in every experience’.
