Destinations can get insights into visitors’ feelings with Sentiment Engine technology

Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, is preparing a unique showcase for visitors to an upcoming industry show in the UK. Trade members attending the Museums + Heritage Show in London will be able to experience the software developer’s Sentiment Engine module, explored through a themed ancient Egypt display.

Museums and cultural sites can use the Sentiment Machine to collect and analyse guest feedback, with reviews being automatically compiled and analysed to identify positivity and negativity. Using advanced AI technology, a report produces reoccurring keywords and trends, making it easier for destinations to interpret and implement the correct changes, as well as managing their brand reputation.

The Sentiment Engine also encourages venues to self-improve over time, with KPIs including the Guest Experience Index (GEI score), Sanitary Safety Score and a Pandemic Precaution Score, which can be triggered as required.

“Greater insight”

Convious’ UK and Ireland managing director Andy Povey says: “71% of guests put reviews in the top two most important factors when deciding to visit a leisure destination.

“Responding and reacting quickly to visitor feedback has been proven to boost conversion and create loyalty amongst guests, leading to repeat visitation. It gives you greater insight into your visitor demographic, allowing you to adjust your offer by addressing key requirements, such as catering for specific languages.

“Visitor feedback can also help to form your next marketing campaign by incorporating features that you know visitors want to know about. This will help you stand out above the competition.”

Charitable services

Convious will also be exploring its integrated Donations feature with attendees. The service encourages guests to support charitable incentives when they book their tickets through the firm’s real-time pricing module. Pricing can therefore be flexible, and be automated or updated manually to match demand.

Those visiting Convious’ stand will be invited to witness the company’s fully integrated end-to-end sales and marketing platform in action, playing out the guest destination experience.

Convious will be at Stand K10 at the Museums + Heritage Show, on 11-12 May, at Olympia London. More information and registration can be found on the show’s website.

Last month, Convious announced a number of management changes with the appointment of DACH managing director Werner Dullmaier and chief marketing officer Tom Benner.
