Majid Al Futtaim is opening Snow Oman today (24 December). The largest snow park in the Middle East, Africa and Asia features a ‘desert blizzard’ theme.
Located in the Mall of Oman, Snow Oman covers an area of 14,830 square metres. It offers family-friendly rides including the Mountain Thriller, Roller GliderSnow Bullet, Slide Winder, Cloud Climber, and Zorb Ball.
Oman’s first and only indoor snow destination also features unique attractions, including Cold Town Muscat, Frozen Shipwreck and Lighthouse, as well as Snow Maze and an ice rink.
Like its sister brands Ski Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates and Ski Egypt in the Mall of Egypt, Snow Oman is home to a colony of king and gentoo penguins.
‘Desert blizzard’ arrives in Oman

Ski Dubai opened in 2005 and was followed by Ski Egypt in 2017. The former has been named the world’s best indoor ski resort by the World Ski Awards for seven consecutive years.
Founded in 1992, Majid Al Futtaim is the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure company across the Middle East, Africa and Asia (MENA).

Earlier this year, Majid Al Futtaim and Dreamscape launched a new virtual reality (VR) attraction at Riyadh Park Mall in Saudi Arabia.
