Ticketing and Booking specialist TOR Systems hosted its annual User Forum in London last week.

The event held at The St.Pancras Renaissance Hotel was attended by attractions around the UK who use TOR System’s real-time integrated booking and ticketing system ‘Maxim’.

PayPal’s David Smallwood spoke to attendees about the benefits to attractions of partnering with the online payment provider.

Andrew Thomas, Director of Europe’s Ticketing Professionals Conference and independent consultant was the keynote speaker of the event. With 20 years in the industry and currently serving on the board of the International Ticketing Association, Thomas talked about how the attractions industry could learn from other sectors, with interesting and sometimes challenging discussion points.

The user forums are vital to the development of the business according to TOR.

TOR Systems Logo“These user forums provide a platform for group discussion, networking and fact finding that prove hugely beneficial to our customers” said Daniel Jordan, Managing Director, TOR Systems.

“This year we were fortunate enough to welcome respected speakers from the sector, which were very well received. This was our 17th annual user forum and each year they grow from strength to strength.”

TOR Systems has been in the business of ticketing and booking systems since 1981 and with key UK attractions like Bournemouth Aquarium and BeWilderwood recently switching to the platform, it is widening its customer base year on year.
