Scruffy Dog opens new studio in the Middle East

After having a presence in Dubai for over a year, Scruffy Dog Creative Group has established a new base in the Middle East.

The new studio, also in Dubai, will be home to a full-time staff of creatives. It will allow the local team to establish a closer relationship and provide seamless service to Scruffy Dog’s Middle Eastern clients.

“This was the natural step to take to ensure our valued clients receive the attention their projects deserve,” says newly-appointed operations director Tim Hopcraft. “We aim to deliver the region’s highest level of creative design with global resources and a local understanding.”

Scruffy’s Middle Eastern clients can now benefit from a full turnkey creative service specialising in masterplanning, concept design, guest experience, IP creation and integration, schematic and detail design, as well as local project specific management.

Hopcraft adds that the company has invested in the satellite studio so its European creative teams have a familiar home when working on regional projects. The new facility includes two private offices, a fully-equipped studio with six workstations and meeting rooms.

The Dubai studio has been designed to work in conjunction with Scruffy Dog’s London headquarters and Barcelona studio. The company also has a production facility in Birmingham, England, overseen by Dylan Lardner-Burke, who has significant theme park experience from the Middle East.
