Universal Orlando unveils terrifying treats for Halloween Horror Nights

Universal Orlando has unveiled the “most extensive menu in event history” for Halloween Horror Nights, featuring more than 75 devilish dishes inspired by this year’s haunts.

Developed by Universal Orlando‘s executive chefs and culinary team, the menacing menu is available within the Halloween Horror Nights event and across the entire resort, including the hotels and Universal CityWalk.

Highlights include the ‘Save Your Tears’ cocktail inspired by ‘The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare‘ and the ‘Maggot Covered Cheese Dog’ based on the ‘Bugs: Eaten Alive’ haunted house.

The ‘Major Sweets Ice Cream Sandwich’ is inspired by the ‘Sweet Revenge’ scare zone, and ‘Lil’ Boo’s Spicy Pumpkin Bun’ is based on the ‘Horrors of Halloween’ scare zone.

Other terrifying treats include the ‘Garlic Philly Cheese Stake’, ‘Tamales Día de los Muertos’, ‘Fried Zombie Brains’, ‘Petrified Rat Tails’, ‘Pizza Skull’, ‘Tombstone Red Velvet Cake Pop’, and ‘Blood ‘n Guts Twisted Tater’.

At Universal CityWalk, guests can enjoy the new ‘Black Magic Milkshake’. The Red Coconut Club will become the Dead Coconut Club, offering a new theme and menu based on Universal’s classic monsters.

All eight hotels will serve Universal Monsters-themed drinks, including ‘The Mummy’, ‘The Wolf Man’ and ‘Dracula. Also, the Sunset Lounge at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites will be transformed into a Halloween paradise.

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights begins this week (2 September) and is available until 31 October. The eerie event will be home to 10 haunted houses, five scare zones and two live shows.

Haunted houses include ‘The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Universal Monsters: Legends Collide’, and ‘The Horrors of Blumhouse’.
