Universal Orlando‘s Volcano Bay water park is bringing back its new nighttime event, Volcano Bay Nights, this autumn.
Combining aquatic attractions and live entertainment, Universal Volcano Bay Nights made its debut in April and May of this year as the water park’s first-ever nighttime event.
The experience is returning for fall on 5 September, running every Friday night through 31 October.
Guests will enjoy after-dark access to the water park , as well as new experiences with Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, Daphne, and villains like Ghost Clown from the animated series.
Live entertainment throughout Volcano Bay will include a beach party of Waturi Beach featuring a live DJ and photo opportunities with the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo.
Additionally, there will be free snacks including churro bites with mango or chocolate dipping sauce, and pineapple and coconut popcorn.

Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay opened in 2017. The 25-acre water park contains more than 30 slides and attractions, ranging from a hydro-magnetic waterslide coaster to a multi-directional wave pool.

Also on offer at Universal Orlando this autumn is the Halloween Horror Nights event, providing new haunted houses inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s, WWE’s The Wyatt Sicks, Friday the 13th‘s Jason Voorhees, Amazon Prime Video’s drama series Fallout, and the Terrifier film franchise.
In more news, revenue increased by 19 percent at Universal’s theme parks in the second quarter of 2025, boosted by the new Epic Universe destination in Orlando, Florida.
