Mustangs, polar bears, and more

A selection of highlight projects from the past 10 months and beyond include:

The American Icon: Mustang Immersive Experience

Working with Imagine Exhibitions, Inc., MediaMation was licensed to provide a turnkey, 20-seat 4D immersive attraction to the Ford Company to showcase its new GTD 815 HP car.

The American Icon: Mustang Immersive Experience blends elements of exhibition and theatre to explore over 60 years of Mustang history. As visitors walk through the experience, each area offers a different viewpoint.

These range from the design studio where the first ideas were conceived to the cultural moments that turned Mustang into a symbol of freedom and individuality.

A 4D motion-effect thrill ride concludes the experience, placing visitors in the driver’s seat for a high-speed, sensory-filled drive through Mustang’s heritage. With this experience, visitors don't just see the car’s spirit; they feel it.

In addition, MediaMation provided a unique audio system with wireless headphones to avoid disturbing the other surrounding exhibits, and a dual-blended projection system on a bespoke, wide, curved screen.

The American Icon: Mustang Immersive Experience is now open in Los Angeles, California, until February 2026. The experience is set to travel to several cities around the US.

The Shroud of Turin: An Immersive Experience

The Shroud of Turin: An Immersive Experience offers insight into the life of Jesus, including his crucifixion, resurrection, and burial shroud.

Under the direction of Trestles Companies, MediaMation supplied the design, lighting and mechanical structure for the recreation of the resurrection. In this exhibit, visitors sit in the tomb of Jesus and see a flash as his body disappears under the shroud.

The Shroud of Turin: An Immersive Experience is arranged into two main sections. It opens with theatre encounters that introduce Jesus Christ and the Shroud of Turin. It then explores the debate, evidence, and history surrounding the Shroud itself.

This 90-minute experience offers the latest evidence and scientific research on the Shroud through a series of 360-degree projection-room theatres, Shroud of Turin replicas, interactive kiosks, a life-size Jesus corpus, new artwork and more.

It will open to the public on 19 November in Orange County, California.

The F1 Experience – Las Vegas

The F1 Experience opened on 2 May in Las Vegas, with over 100,000 square feet of adrenaline-driven entertainment in its Grand Prix Plaza.

In this experience, visitors go on a tech-driven journey through legendary artefacts and finish in the 4D Theatre. Here, fans race the Las Vegas Strip Circuit on a hyper-realistic ride featuring helmet-cam visuals, roaring engines, motion effects, and burning-rubber scents.

MediaMation provided the 24 MX4D Motion EFX seats with just three weeks' notice.

Additionally, hands-on activities allow visitors to design their own virtual F1 car and test it on the virtual track.

The Grand Prix Plaza is closed until early 2026 to allow the F1 Heineken Grand Prix to start on 22 November 2025.

Dino Don, The Ultimate T.Rex

The Ultimate T.Rex: The VR Experience from Dino Don, an exhibition company founded by dinosaur expert Don Lessem, launched in July at The Bronx Zoo in New York.

MediaMation supplied its eight-seat single MX4D VR system as a stand-alone 4D experience.

With 360-degree VR and MX4D Motion EFX seats, guests are immersed in a lush, prehistoric world where T. Rex chases hyper-realistic dinosaurs.

Jordan’s Furniture Enchanted Village

This holiday season, Jordan’s Furniture’s Enchanted Village in Massachusetts will open its Polar Bear Express 4D EFX ride.

The Enchanted Village is a seasonal experience with rides such as the “The Tube” slide, ice skating, and a laser light show.

MediaMation retrofitted its existing 4D EFX theatre to synchronise it with the company's award-winning ShowFlow software.

The theatre upgrades included new fully digital hydraulic servo systems and upgrades to audio/3D video and show control using MediaMation's Vidshow and ShowFlow software.

US Air Force Recruiting Service 4D Mobile Experience

In collaboration with Next Marketing, MediaMation delivered an immersive 15-seat MX4D Motion EFX mobile experience trailer for the U.S. Air Force Recruiting Service.

From early 2026, this interactive trailer will travel to key air shows, school campuses, and community events nationwide. Its goal is to engage audiences through a vibrant, multisensory experience that inspires and attracts the next generation of Airmen.

The unit will also act as a robust platform for recruiters to engage with potential candidates in local markets.

Global project portfolio

In addition, MediaMation is set to provide a 46-seat MX4D Motion EFX theatre for Dreamworks Theme Park in Saudi Arabia through Alshaya Int’l Trading Co, Saudi Arabia. The park is expected to open in late 2026.

In the US, the company is supplying an immersive 4D Motion EFX experience for the Mattel Adventure Park in Arizona, US. The project is expected to open in 2026.

And in South Korea, it has completed five of the 20 cinema theatres in the Lotte/Megabox rollout with the MX4D brand. More theatres will be installed over the next couple of years.

Recently, MediaMation reflected on a successful project at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where it supplied immersive solutions for Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex.
