Sentosa Development Corporation has unveiled the next phase of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan (GSMP), which reimagines the islands of Sentosa and Pulau Brani as an "island playground".
The long-term transformation is integrating Sentosa with the 120-hectare Brani, also introducing new landmarks, hotels and attractions, as well as reimagined beaches.
"For more than five decades, Sentosa has welcomed generations of Singaporeans and visitors from around the world, growing into a place that holds precious memories for many and well-loved by all. It is, in many ways, a global Singapore brand," said Thien Kwee Eng, CEO of Sentosa Development Corporation.
"The GSMP is the greatest transformation in our history. We will stay true to the soul and identity of this island, while shaping the next generation of world-class experiences," he added.

"Before any of it is built, we wanted to share this vision openly, invite Singaporeans to step inside it and shape it together."
Highlights include a beacon and vantage point on top of Mount Imbiah called the Imbiah Canopy, which will house attractions, F&B outlets, and retail options.
The plan also includes nature-based attractions, such as a tree-top skywalk and a sheltered, elevated forest canopy walk.
Along the beachfront, the Sensorium is envisioned as a new landmark offering a range of lifestyle and indoor attractions, including a multi-purpose venue for events and festivals.

Siloso, Palawan and Tanjong Beach will be rejuvenated, and new experiences that utilise Sentosa's natural assets are being considered, including coastal activities, beach clubs and a floating boardwalk connecting islets.
The project will be carried out progressively, with new developments expected to launch from the early 2030s. When completed, Greater Sentosa is expected to attract twice as many visitors as it does currently.
