CONDUCTR (CDTR), the UK-based innovation studio, has revealed its plans for its product division, Game Volt, to present Supercharged Shuffle at the EAG Expo.
The Entertainment, Amusement and Gaming International Expo (EAG) is the premier coin-operated amusements event for the leisure industry. The 2024 event is taking place from 16 to 18 January at ExCel, London.
Game Volt will showcase the electrified social gaming experience Supercharged Shuffle at Stand E54.
Large group entertainment
Visitors to the Game Volt stand will be able to try Supercharged Shuffle. This game combines the skill of classic shuffleboard with the adrenaline of a computer game. Players are asked to check in with a selfie before being placed into random teams and taken through a selection of five interactive games.
Pucks are tracked in real-time, with automatic scoring and action replays which highlight the greatest moments. This setup is perfect for large group entertainment and provides excellent spectator value. Intuitive gameplay and regular updates keep guests engaged, ensuring high repeatability and a rapid return on investment.
Up to eight players take part for between 10 minutes and one hour. Other visitors in the venue can watch all of the action, which in turn encourages them to book.
Competitive socialising
Game Volt reinvents classic games with a technological twist in order to create dynamic environments with high spectator value. These experiences improve dwell time and generate excellent return on investment through repeatability and secondary purchases.
Peter Cliff, CEO / founder at Game Volt, comments: “The competitive socialising business model is taking F&B and leisure destinations by storm, serving up increased revenues and quick ROI.
“In just one month, one UK venue saw a £30,000 increase from investing in three of our Supercharged Shuffle tables, with all fully booked from Thursday – Sunday, a rise in midweek custom and significant additional spend behind the bar.
“Our products are designed to deliver high return with minimal operator input, with easy installation, intuitive gameplay and regular media refreshes available to keep the experiences evolving with no physical overhauls required.
“The nature of the games encourages guests to keep returning to better their scores or reach the next level, so operators quickly see a return on investment and increased revenue spend on food and drink.”
CONDUCTR (CDTR) recently teamed up with Alton Towers Resort on a horror-themed escape maze for the 2023 Scarefest event. The technology-enhanced attraction combined two immersive entertainment genres into one spooky experience, Daz Games: PANIC. The maze was designed by CDTR in partnership with legendary YouTube star Daz Black.
