Shuffly unveils industry-first modular shuffleboard

Shuffly Modular Shuffleboard

New approach is customisable, scalable, and more affordable

Shuffly, a leading creator of shuffleboards for the leisure and entertainment industry, has announced the launch of its new modular shuffleboards, marking a first for the industry.

Going forward, Shuffly’s shuffleboards will be modular. This shift means that clients benefit from a more versatile, scalable and cost-effective product, while, as the manufacturer, Shuffly can streamline production, reduce costs, and guarantee consistent quality.

“Venues can start with a basic shuffleboard and expand over time with features like LED lighting, an integrated bar, or even upgrade to the high-tech Shuffle Showdown,” says a spokesperson from the company.

“This approach is a first in the industry, making Shuffly the pioneer in modular shuffleboard design.”

Versatile design

The modular system enables clients to create the ideal shuffleboard configuration for their venue, audience, and budget. Its versatile design enables seamless upgrades and changes over time.

A key feature of Shuffly’s modular system is the integrated bar configuration. With this option, a built-in wooden bar encourages a social atmosphere and offers seating for up to 10 people for 12 feet shuffleboards, or 20 people for larger shuffleboards. In addition, the bar element boosts dwell time and increases F&B sales.

Other configurations include:

  • Lighting upgrades. Customers can now create a vibrant and engaging experience by adding LED lighting.
  • Shuffle Showdown upgrade. This cutting-edge addition includes camera-automated puck-tracking, a screen with three interactive games, and a tablet for enhanced shuffleboard gameplay.
  • Customisation. The cradle is available in a range of colours to match the venue’s aesthetics, and there is also an option to add personalised branding to the playfield.

Additional add-ons include a wooden cover, which converts the shuffleboard into a large table or buffet station, and scorekeepers for seamless game tracking.

“More accessible, interactive, & profitable than ever before”

The modular shuffleboard system provides both commerical and production benefits.

Manufacturing has become more efficient and cost-effective, resulting in lower prices and improved scalability. Shuffly has kept production local to its headquarters in the Netherlands, which guarantees high-quality craftsmanship while enabling economies of scale. Components such as the metal frame can be produced in greater numbers, to minimize costs without sacrificing quality.

The streamlined production reduces inventory requirements and allows for robotic welding, leading to significantly improved efficiency. The company can now manufacture series of 100 standardised units, rather than producing smaller batches of different components.

Shuffly’s new modular shuffleboards have debuted at Total Experience Antwerp, Belgium and De Vermaekerij Maasbree, the Netherlands, where they are demonstrating their effectiveness in creating engaging and profitable entertainment venues.

“For venues, the benefits go beyond cost savings,” says a spokesperson from Shuffly. “The modular system optimizes floor space, replacing large communal tables with a more interactive and revenue-generating experience.

“Whether a small bar or a large entertainment center, every venue can now tailor their shuffleboard setup to maximize engagement and profitability.

“With this launch, Shuffly is not just redefining shuffleboard—it’s making it more accessible, interactive, and profitable than ever before, setting a new standard in the industry.”
