During a third-quarter earnings call in November, Six Flags' chief financial officer Brian Witherow said the company is looking at "underperforming" parks in its portfolio, with plans to close or sell the sites.
"I think we already have a pretty good idea of which are the low-hanging fruit when it comes to non-core versus strategic assets going forward" Witherow said.

Six Flags is "going to prioritize certain parks over other parks", he added.

In more news, the first Six Flags theme park outside of North America, Six Flags Qiddiya City, has opened in Saudi Arabia.
