Splash Island is the water park’s largest investment to date

Six Flags’ Hurricane Harbor water park in Arlington, Texas has opened a new water playground with 17 waterslides and more than 100 interactive features.

Splash Island represents the largest investment in the water park’s history.

The 58,000-square-foot site also includes a reimagined restaurant, enhanced dining options, and more family cabanas.

“Splash Island was designed with our families in mind,” said park manager Heather Blair.

“It provides tons of fun for kids and parents alike, and a place for everyone to relax in the nearby cabanas while they savor our new food and beverage offerings.

“We can’t wait to be part of the cherished memories that guests of all ages will come to experience at Hurricane Harbor and Splash Island.”

Signature features in the aquatic playground include a multi-level treehouse-style play structure standing at 50 feet tall, as well as 17 colourful waterslides.
