Fever, a premier global platform for discovering live entertainment that helps millions of people find the best local experiences, has announced its strategic expansion into Qatar.

This milestone highlights the country’s increasing momentum as a global centre for innovation, major events, and cutting-edge experiential entertainment.

Fever’s expansion reflects Qatar's broader initiative, backed by Invest Qatar, to draw high-growth global companies and cultivate a vibrant ecosystem focused on creativity, technology, and live experiences.

By introducing some of the world’s most innovative cultural and entertainment formats to Doha, Fever actively contributes to Qatar’s swiftly growing experiential economy.

Committed to the region in the long term, Fever aims to create dozens of high-skilled jobs in Qatar over the coming years, supporting the country's objectives for talent development and economic diversification.

A global events and experiences hub

"Qatar continues to strengthen its position as a vibrant hub for global events, from major sports, business and tech forums to live entertainment and culture showcases," says Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, CEO, Invest Qatar. "Our partnership with Fever reflects the strength and potential of Qatar’s innovation ecosystem.

"With its strategic location, world-class infrastructure and a tech-driven national vision, Qatar offers an ideal platform for Fever to introduce its cutting-edge, tech-enabled experiences and accelerate its expansion across the region."

Recently, Qatar has invested heavily to boost its international presence in culture, technology, and sports. Hosting major global events has fueled its goal to be a top destination for world-class experiences.

The entry of Fever, offering advanced data-driven tools, international expertise, and innovative entertainment ideas, aligns with and supports Qatar’s long-term economic diversification plan.

Leveraging Fever’s success in engaging large global audiences, especially during major football tournaments, the company is well-positioned to strengthen Qatar’s expanding ecosystem of high-end cultural and sports experiences.

Fever will take part in the Web Summit Qatar from February 1-4, 2026, demonstrating how its technology and creativity can support Qatar’s vision, especially in cultural programming and live sports experiences.

Strategic investments

Fever’s entry into Qatar aligns with the country's strategic investments in live entertainment, tourism, and the creative economy.

Qatar has launched several initiatives, such as Startup Qatar, an online platform that invites global startups to establish a presence in Doha, helping them access regional markets and investment opportunities.

Media City Qatar is vital in advancing the experiential economy by supporting major events and offering advanced infrastructure for creative industries.

This effort is supported by Qatar’s Ministry of Culture, which continues to organise large-scale cultural programs and festivals that showcase the nation’s rich heritage and establish Qatar as a leading entertainment hub.

The platform’s growth supports Qatar’s Vision 2030, emphasising economic diversification, tourism, and world-class experiences.

Qatar Tourism is launching a broad schedule of events, such as art exhibitions, live performances, and sports events. Fever’s data-driven strategy for curating experiences will connect event organizers with audiences more effectively and deliver high-quality content to Qatar, boosting the country’s entertainment industry.

"Qatar’s vision for culture, sports, and live experiences makes it a natural fit for Fever’s growth in the region," says Rachid Elameri, regional general manager APAC & MEA at Fever.

"Through our partnership with Invest Qatar, we’re excited to bring fan-first, tech-enabled experiences to Doha, using data and creativity to help people discover, connect with, and enjoy world-class entertainment while contributing to the country’s evolving experiential economy."

Fever, with a proven track record of organising and promoting successful global events, is well-positioned to play a key role in Qatar’s growing entertainment scene. This will strengthen the country’s appeal to international tourists, residents, and business professionals.

As Qatar further develops its presence at the crossroads of sports, innovation, and entertainment, Fever aims to introduce advanced international content, immersive formats, and technology-driven experiences to the local audience.

Fever also recently worked with Merlin Magic Making, the creative division for Merlin Entertainments, to debut the Super Neon attraction at the Mall of America.
