With over 500 successful projects, ranging from small dome attractions to huge multi-dome complexes for theme parks, Fulldome.pro has earned a reputation as a global leader in the immersive dome marketplace.
Tatiana Retinskaya, chief sales officer, says: “As a company, we’re not afraid of challenges or groundbreaking projects. In fact, we thrive on them! Our expertise lies in our ability to discover and implement innovative technology-based solutions.”
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, US
Fulldome.pro created multiple cutting-edge flying theatres for the most famous space visitor attraction in the US, the Kennedy Space Center.
In 2022, the Kennedy Space Center extended its visitor offer to include four innovative MX4D Motion EFX Flying Theaters. Each theatre has a 180-degree dome projector screen and shows four films which explore different aspects of space flight. This project required four flying theatre dome screens, each measuring 10m, a 4m open dome screen and five projection servers, all of which were supplied by Fulldome.pro.
This unique cinematic experience uses MX4D special effects to create an immersive 4D experience with wind, scent, audio transducers, seat, and back pokers. An open 4m dome delivers the experience without a vertical angle, which offers a more accessible experience for visitors.
Masan Robotland, South Korea
Fulldome.pro was responsible for building an extraordinary 20-metre frameless dome screen with a high-quality 4K projection system – the largest flying theatre in South Korea.
The screen was developed for Masan Robot Land, which is a world-class robot theme park that mixes robotics and entertainment. Fulldome.pro was not only required to build the screen for the largest flying theatre in the country, but this needed to be within budget, with a limited footprint and tight timeframe. This was achieved by using a groundbreaking frameless negative-pressure dome screen on a customized truss.
Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea
The Rotary Park zone is a popular attraction at Jeju Shinhwa World, South Korea. It is one of the most visited locations on Jeju Island. The Rotary Park zone combines creative content and innovative design with cutting-edge technology.
Fulldome.pro collaborated with CL CORP to develop a 4D theatre experience. This features an exclusive show with animated characters from the Rotary Park TV series. The experience can accommodate 130 guests in Head In The Stars motion seats which follow the action on screen.
A 20-meter negative pressure screen was built to fit snugly inside a custom-built domed building. Fulldome.pro also installed a 12-projector, 5K 3D projection system powered by a single media server.
Sea Life, locations worldwide
Fulldome.pro was commissioned by HeyHuman to help create an experience which would enable visitors at Sealife centres around the world to see beluga whales playing in a realistic open water setting. This aimed to help visitors connect with the two featured whales, Little Grey and Little White, enhancing awareness and donations.
Fulldome.pro supplied and installed 15 domes in six Sea Life centres around the world. Audiences in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Australia, Thailand, and Iceland were soon able to experience the majesty of these huge whales. Each 3-metre dome uses a DX4 projection system and 5.1 surround sound, and an illuminated information pod. Fulldome.pro provided full training to staff at each site, with ongoing technical support.
On entering the dome, visitors watch a brief introduction before the endearing whales, Little Grey and Little White, appear. The whales swim around the viewers and play in their virtual habitat. The stunning CGI video was created by The Mill and features audio by Aurelia Soundworks. An information pod accompanies the dome, and offers more details on the belugas, with a donation box for the Beluga Whale Sanctuary.
