Disneyland Paris has updated its face mask policy, with face coverings no longer required for cast members or guests, indoors or outdoors. However, visitors aged 16 years old and above need to show a ‘vaccine pass’.
“As of March 2, in line with French government guidance, face masks are no longer required at Disneyland Paris,” the attraction says on its website. “They remain recommended for experiences such as our parade and nighttime spectacular ‘Disney Illuminations’.”
“Guests aged 16 years old and above need to present a vaccine pass to enter Disneyland Paris. Find out more information about vaccine pass and what qualifies as being considered fully vaccinated here,” it adds.
“For guests aged between 12 and 15 years old, a health pass remains required to enter Disneyland Paris. Find out more information about a health pass and vaccination or testing requirements for guests aged 12 to 15 here.”
‘Health pass’ required for younger guests

Disneyland Paris’ decision to make face masks optional, with a vaccine pass or health pass, comes after Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California updated their health and safety measures.
Face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests in indoor and outdoor locations at Disney World, and they are required for unvaccinated guests in all indoor locations but not for fully vaccinated visitors at Disneyland.
Meanwhile, Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the Avengers Campus expansion will open in summer 2022 at Walt Disney Studios Park as part of the resort’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
“We’re going to give you super powers,” said Brent Strong, executive creative director at Walt Disney Imagineering.
