The Family LSM Coaster
Intamin’s new Family LSM Coaster builds on the technology of its iconic and widely acclaimed LSM Launch Coasters. The new product has a brand-new LSM system that has been modified from the strongest launch on the market, combined with trains and a propulsion system which have been developed to appeal to visitors of all ages. Optional onboard audio and LEDs further enhance the experience.
Key features of the Family LSM Coaster include:
- Airtime capability. The Family LSM Coaster enables riders to experience thrilling airtime up to -0.4g.
- Minimum height requirement. With a minimum height requirement of only one meter (39 inches), the Family LSM Coaster allows younger riders to join the fun.
- Customised layout elements. The Family LSM Coaster is highly customisable and includes layout components like fast switches, spikes, backward launch portions, inversions, and more. This versatility allows for configurations similar to the company’s larger LSM Launch Coasters as well as fully unique layouts.
The Intamin Family LSM Coaster has been created to offer a memorable experience for the whole family. Features like airtime hills and inversions, together with flexible layouts and accessible height restrictions, provide the ideal balance of excitement and accessibility.
The Dome Ride 40
In 2023, Intamin’s Dome Ride Theater won multiple industry honours, including the IAAPA Brass Ring and Impact Award. Following client feedback, Intamin has launched the Dome Ride 40, a space- and cost-effective alternative to the bigger Dome Ride Theater.
The Dome Ride 40 features a 360 degree LED dome that provides uninterrupted panoramic vistas while preserving its status as the most immersive ride in the world. It has the same dynamic capabilities as its larger sibling, including up to 6 RPM rotation and a 30 degree tilting ring. Furthermore, the ride incorporates 4D sensations such as seat vibrations, fragrances, wind, and others.
Intamin has also optimised the technology by removing the retracting LED show floor and introducing retractable handrails for loading and unloading.
With a capacity of 40 passengers and a smaller footprint, the Dome Ride 40 provides a distinctive and unique experience suitable for a variety of venues. These range from amusement parks to standalone attractions at shopping malls.
Delegates at IAAPA Expo 2024 are invited to visit Intamin at booth #3825 where the team will be showcasing special layout features such as the Bungee Drop, Gyro Table, and many more, designed for the company’s Multi Dimension Coasters and Flume Rides.
Earlier this month, Intamin celebrated the opening of Danse Macabre at Efteling in the Netherlands. This highly-anticipated, groundbreaking attraction uses the first-ever dynamic motion stage ride system. It marks a new milestone in Efteling and Intamin’s longstanding collaboration.
