Universal Orlando has shared a first look at Epic Universe's five themed lands ahead of the imminent launch of the new park on 22 May.
The resort in Florida has unveiled the Chronos tower in the Celestial Park land, which serves as the heart of Epic Universe.
Celestial Park houses gardens, waterways and pathways, as well as the Starfall Racers dual-launch racing coaster, the Constellation Carousel, and the interactive Astronomica water play area.
Universal Orlando has also unveiled the remaining themed lands at Epic Universe, which are:
Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, theWizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, andHow to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe is a gamified and interactive land with attractions like Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure.
It also includes Donkey Kong Country, a tropical-themed area inspired by theDonkey Kong video gamesoffering Mine-Cart Madness, a unique family-friendly coaster using an unprecedented ride system and innovative technology.
Dark Universe is animmersive landdedicated to Universal’s classic monsters. It houses Universal's most terrifying attraction to date – Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
Epic Universe's How to Train Your Dragon-themed land, namedIsle of Berk, is a colourful world featuring attractions, retail and dining experiences, and flying dragons.
Finally, Universal Orlando’s thirdWizarding World of Harry Potter is inspired by 1920s Paris in theFantastic Beastsfilm franchise and the British Ministry of Magic from theHarry Potterseries.
Rides and attractions in this land includeHarry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, billed as one of Universal’s most impressive attractions to date.
Last week, Universal Orlando started selling single-day tickets to Epic Universe.
“Epic Universe is a whole new kind of theme park,” Epic Universe executive creative director Steve Tathamsaid in arecent video.
