Float4 delivers new visual art piece at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

News
Float4 Little Red Cosmopolitan

Float4, an award-winning multidisciplinary studio that integrates digital experiences into physical spaces, has created another visual art piece, named Little Red, for the Lobby Columns installation at The Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas. This project follows the firm’s integration of Opulence at The Cosmopolitan.

This piece further immerses guests in a fantastical realm. This time, the titular main character ventures into mysterious forests, encountering various predatory creatures before finding her way through a magical door that leads her into a radiant new setting.

Little Red is showcased on eight columns, each 16 feet tall, as part of the 75-foot display in the registration area, and on the hotel’s beacon above.

A follow-up to Opulence

In 2023, Float4 transformed the hotel lobby with an impressive visual art installation called Opulence.

Like Little Red, this artwork for the Lobby Columns multimedia installation transported guests into a fantastical realm, where surreal characters came to life, existing in a dreamlike environment.

Other previous work from Float4 at The Cosmopolitan includes Blur, which was featured on the marquee display outside as well as on the beacon atop the hotel & resort. The Blur live-action piece was inspired by its iconic Chandelier bar, as well as the numerous crystals that adorn the hotel.

That same year, inspired by the 2023 Las Vegas Formula 1, Float4 created a poster collection for the hotel that pays homage to the iconic race posters of the past.

Last year, Float4 also shared details of its projects in collaboration with Hyatt Regency Orlando in Florida. The studio collaborated with the award-winning resort hotel to create digital art installations that make a lasting impression and invite guests to connect more deeply with the Hyatt brand.

The collaboration, launched in 2023, aimed to create a series of interventions for the hotel’s lobby, ballrooms, and skybridge that would surprise and engage guests.
