Jora Vision, a leading design and production company, is bringing RemarkaBall, its automated, immersive minigolf concept developed in partnership with Lagotronics, to five new locations in the Netherlands.

The new installations will be operated by Hollywood Entertainment Center, one of the county's top indoor entertainment providers.

Building on the product's successful rollout in France, this expansion demonstrates the continued momentum for social entertainment in Europe. Demand for immersive, shared leisure experiences is continuing to grow, with F&B playing a key commercial role.

Bespoke experiences

RemarkaBall merges premium theming, smart technology and story to deliver a seamless visitor experience.

Players receive an RFID wristband upon arrival, which automatically tracks scores across all holes, eliminating the need for manual scoring. This enables operators to optimise staffing and focus on driving revenue through hospitality and F&B.

RemarkaBall representative Anthony Nelemans says: "Operators increasingly recognise the value of immersive concepts, but they also want their teams to stay focused on guest experience and food and beverage.

"RemarkaBall is designed to be robust, intuitive and fully automated, allowing players to navigate independently while staff concentrate on service."

The creative experts from Jora Vision are involved in the design process. As a result, each RemarkaBall installation offers a unique immersive environment, with the course layout, theming and narrative customised to the venue.

In addition to traditional minigolf, RemarkaBall offers a variety of skill-based games that keep the experience fresh and exciting. These include Tilt (offering table-level gameplay without a putter, pictured top), Quiz (a mix of general knowledge with putting challenges), and Twister (physical interaction combined with mini golf).

It also turns minigolf into a shared group experience through cooperative gameplay. In the Sabotage hole, team members control gates that change the active player’s route. Fussball turns the game into a mini football match, with players defending their goal on an interactive table.

Growing European presence

The five locations in the Netherlands are scheduled to open throughout 2026, in a partnership with Hollywood Entertainment Center that underscores growing confidence among major operators in immersive, technology-driven attractions that combine gameplay with strong F&B performance.

This expansion marks a significant milestone in RemarkaBall’s ongoing European growth strategy and strengthens its position as a next-generation social entertainment concept.

Last year, Jora Vision shared insights into how it develops imaginative theme park designs and constructions with a clear vision and powerful design tools.
