Holovis, a leading experience designer, has announced that its next-gen social gaming technology, 360Golf, will make its European trade show debut at the Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming (EAG) Expo Europe, which takes place at London’s Excel Centre from 14 – 16 January 2025. This annual event unites top professionals in amusement, gaming, and entertainment technology, aiming to elevate visitor experiences and boost revenue in leisure and attractions.
Since its debut, 360Golf has transformed mini-golf by integrating advanced tracking and automated stroke-counting technology into the golf balls. The system boosts player engagement through innovative gamification features, replacing traditional scorecards with real-time digital tracking for a more seamless experience. Each golf ball contains technology that automatically tracks and shows scores on interactive displays around the course, enabling players to engage in the game fully.

At EAG Expo 2025, Holovis will present the “second generation” of 360Golf, which has recently launched at three new courses within the popular British holiday resort, Butlin’s. These revamped courses incorporate advanced technology to ensure a smoother and enjoyable experience for guests and operators.
Attendees can experience a demo course at Holovis’ booth, #B32. The 360Golf team has designed a signature hole highlighting the blend of technology and interactive gameplay inherent to 360Golf.
360Golf has entertained countless players globally at venues such as Butlin’s in Bognor Regis and the new SuperSocial at Leopardstown Racecourse in Ireland. Each installation is continuously monitored using Holovis’ DeepSmarts data analytics platform, offering operators an intuitive dashboard that features player statistics (such as player volume, game duration, and high scores) alongside crucial operational metrics like course usage, uptime, and maintenance schedules.
Holovis is working on two of its biggest courses yet, part of the first of 11 installations planned throughout the GCC, with openings expected to commence later this year. These courses aim to redefine mini-golf design, incorporating features such as 15-foot-high ball trajectories that add an extraordinary scale and ambition to the game.
Clients have the option to select from a wide range of existing 360Golf course designs or work alongside Holovis’ creative team to create custom courses that fit their venue, theme, or brand.
Ben Fry, marketing manager, says: “360Golf is truly reinventing the game. Our automated stroke-counting and tracking technologies, combined with exciting course designs and gamification elements, have created a golf system like no other.
“We’re really excited that this course will be making its European Trade Show debut at EAG and can’t wait for visitors to get their hands on the technology!”
The firm also recently showcased the latest iteration of 360Golf at IAAPA Expo 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
