Guests can visit Bluey’s home behind Camp’s Magic Door

Family experience company Camp is taking its Bluey immersive experience to its flagship New York City location for the holiday season.

Inspired by the award-winning animated children’s show and created in collaboration with BBC Studios, Bluey x Camp opens on 6 December.

Behind Camp’s signature Magic Door, guests can visit Bluey’s home, a 5,000-square-foot house based on the TV show.

Families will play their favourite Bluey games like Magic Asparagus to Keepy Uppy, activate dance mode in Bluey’s playroom, climb through a two-storey pillow fort and a cardboard box castle with slides, and discover Easter eggs from their favourite Bluey episodes.

Additionally, guests will get to watch short Bluey animations, take a selfie with Bluey and Bingo, and shop for exclusive Bluey x Camp merchandise.

“We have anticipated bringing Bluey x Camp to our flagship location since the day we created this show in collaboration with the BBC Studios for the US market and here we are,” said Jenica Myszkowski, Camp’s CEO.

“The excitement for Bluey x Camp has been extraordinary and we are planning for the most spectacular holiday season yet at our 5th Avenue store.

“We will bring the Heeler home to our NYC community, to families visiting New York this season, plus Bluey and Bingo holiday gifts co-branded exclusively for this experience.”

Bluey‘s LBE expansion

Suzy Raia, SVP of global consumer products at BBC Studios, said: “It’s been a big year for Bluey, and what better way to end 2024 on a high note than bringing Bluey x Camp to New York.

“Arriving just in time for the holidays, Bluey x Camp NYC will also give families more ways to laugh, play and pretend into 2025.”

Bluey x Camp first opened in LA in November 2023 and is currently in Boston and Chicago. It will open in Philadelphia on 16 December.

Elsewhere, the new Bluey’s World immersive experience is set to open this year in Brisbane, Australia.
