Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI), the world’s premier exhibition and conference fully dedicated to the cruise ship industry, has announced that its founders have launched two new events. Cruise Xperience Innovation Summit Europe will take place from 4 to 5 December 2024, and Cruise Xperience Innovation Summit Americas will be held from 3 to 4 June 2025.
These new Cruise Xperience Innovation (CXI) events join CSI Americas, Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe (CSIE), and the CSI+ membership platform.
Customised experiences
The new CXI events will serve a specialist audience and are set to highlight how technology is influencing the visitor experience. They will showcase innovative vendors, custom content, and the showrunner’s distinctive blend of formal and informal networking opportunities.
“Cruise brands seek to deliver personalisation at scale, hoping to recreate what’s known in the industry as the ‘small ship experience’ even for guests on board the largest megaships,” explains a spokesperson from CXI.
“From smart room controls that allow guests to calibrate their room to their personal taste to wearables that generate curated experiences using guest data, cruise ship technology is steering the course for guest experience.”
As technology influences more aspects of cruise ship design than ever before, it is key that customers with broad requirements connect with expert suppliers. Exhibitors at CXI include specialists in immersive cruise ship technology, smart room controls, RFID technology, interactive displays, wayfinding systems, culinary innovation, and many others.
The two-day event will include expert panels that will offer valuable insights for buyers and designers tasked with ensuring their brand is at the forefront of the visitor experience. Delegates can hear from experts in their field and network with peers over lunch. In addition, speed networking optimises opportunities for suppliers and buyers.
CXI Europe will debut on 4 to 5 December 2024 at ExCeL London, UK, and will accompany CSI Europe. The second edition, CXI Americas, will take place from 3 to 4 June 2025 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, US.
