DOF Robotics, an award-winning producer of immersive simulation attractions, robotic systems, games, and CGI content, is exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, where the team has presented its new cinematic content, Phantom City, for the first time.

The company is also showcasing Angry Birds Fury Road, Hurricane 360, and AIQ, and will give a first look at upcoming content, including The Smurfs, Dog Fight, and Guardian Challenge, emphasising its strong focus on innovation and immersive entertainment.

This year marks a historic milestone as the company completes its Initial Public Offering (IPO), demonstrating investor confidence and backing its plan for accelerated global expansion.

Phantom City

Phantom City is DOF Robotics’ newest original creation, transforming a tense street race into a cinematic showstopper.

Riding with a renowned driver in a Hyper Car, the audience enjoys scenes like collapsing bridges, underwater chases, zero-gravity zones, dragons, and giant monsters, all brought to life with DOF Robotics’ advanced simulators and multi-sensory effects. This is achieved using the latest VR technology in true 8K 3D at 60 frames per second.

The Smurfs, Dog Fight & Guardian Challenge

DOF Robotics is also launching several new content titles that will soon broaden its immersive offerings.

The Smurfs takes families on a colourful, light-hearted rescue adventure where a few brave Smurfs must escape Gargamel’s grasp and make their way back to their village. Designed for both VR and flat-screen formats, it blends beloved characters with fun storytelling that appeals to audiences of all ages.

Dog Fight provides an aviation simulation, immersing guests in fighter jet cockpits for tactical dogfights and bold manoeuvres. This realistic VR experience shows DOF Robotics’ expertise in seamlessly blending cinematic action with simulator technology.

Guardian Challenge immerses audiences in disaster response and planetary defence, allowing them to become humanity’s protectors. From natural disasters to critical rescue operations, guests participate in an adrenaline-filled experience that combines learning with entertainment.

Hurricane 360 VR

Visitors to the DOF Robotics booth can experience Hurricane, the company’s multi-award-winning attraction that won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award. Hurricane offers the thrill of a roller coaster paired with highly realistic virtual reality content.

As a flagship product from DOF Robotics, it remains a popular centrepiece that excites guests and increases visitor numbers for operators.

Angry Birds Fury Road

At IAAPA Expo Europe 2025, Angry Birds Fury Road will debut as DOF Robotics’ first arcade game, created through an exclusive partnership with Rovio Entertainment. Despite its compact size, the game offers a powerful experience, combining the popular Angry Birds universe with an active motion platform, AI-generated maps, and visuals that are enhanced by wind, vibrations, and sound effects.

Built for easy plug-and-play setup, it supports up to eight players for local multiplayer and features online global rankings. As it prepares for trials and demonstrations, Angry Birds Fury Road introduces a new era of arcade entertainment, merging storytelling with advanced technology.

AIQ

The team is also presenting AIQ during the trade show. This is an AI-powered photo system that transforms live captures and cherished photos into themed visuals within seconds.

DOF Robotics AIQ

Featuring an intuitive touch interface and instant QR-based sharing, as well as high-quality prints, AIQ combines cutting-edge generative AI with cinematic clarity. From exhibitions to family entertainment centres, it boosts guest engagement by sparking excitement, curiosity, and memories, seamlessly merging technology with artistry.

Global partnerships

DOF Robotics maintains robust global partnerships, such as its work with Feld Entertainment on Monster Jam and the recent integration of AIQ aboard MSC Cruises.

Additionally, by opening new offices and warehouses in the Netherlands, Paris, London, and Los Angeles, the company is strengthening its operations in Europe and elsewhere, providing quicker service and localised support for its partners.

IPO milestone

2025 is a landmark year for DOF Robotics as it successfully completes its IPO. This achievement highlights the company’s robust financial health, global growth, and dedication to long-term development.

DOF Robotics IPO

Going public opens new doors for DOF Robotics, allowing it to boost innovation, enhance international collaborations, and grow in key markets worldwide. The IPO reflects strong investor confidence and positions the company to spearhead the future of immersive entertainment with increased momentum.
