Martin & Vleminckx, a leader in the design, manufacture, fabrication, and installation of thrill attractions, has been named the winner of the Influential Brand award at the Chinese amusement park industry's 2024 Golden Crown event.
The company initially became involved in the Chinese amusement park sector in 2009, when it unveiled China's first wooden roller coaster.
In partnership with Chinese authorities, education on the structural reliability and safety elements of Martin & Vleminckx roller coasters was provided over several months and resulted in a safe and exhilarating rider experience. The company also contributed significantly to the development of regulations for the approval of future wooden roller coasters.
Martin & Vleminckx has since delivered 12 wooden roller coasters to China.
