The United States of America also referred to as the USA or US is the largest economy in the world, the third largest country in the world by land area and the third most populous. It consists of 50 states and spans from the Pacific Ocean on the west to the Atlantic Ocean on the east.

The USA is one of the most popular travel destinations on the planet. Its tourism industry makes a significant contribution to the country’s economy, and the majority of this spending comes from domestic travellers.

These visitors travel to and within the USA for its wealth of visitor attractions, which range from world-renowned theme parks, resorts, and museums to outstanding national parks, zoos and aquariums, immersive experiences, water parks, and much more.

Orlando in Florida is one of the most visited destinations in the US and is widely considered to be the theme park capital of the world. Here, visitors can find Walt Disney World Resort, which includes Magic Kingdom, the most visited theme park on the planet, as well as Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom parks, more than 30 hotels, and the 120-acre retail area Disney Springs.

The city’s myriad of leading attractions also features Universal (which includes Universal Studios, Universal’s Islands of Adventure parks, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and the upcoming Epic Universe) and SeaWorld.

New York is another key destination for visitors to the USA. It is particularly notable for its landmarks, museums, and galleries. Alongside internationally recognised sights, such as the Guggenheim Museum, Statue of Liberty, and Empire State Building, are groundbreaking attractions like the Strong National Museum of Play, the only collection-based museum in the world to focus on the history of play and the first-ever Angry Birds-themed retail café.
