Imagine, a creator of engaging visitor experiences that entertain, educate, and inspire, is celebrating the debut of its new travelling exhibition, Brick Planet: A magical journey made with Lego, which opened at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, US in May.
This launch marks the company’s fifth exhibition in partnership with Sean Kenney, a world-renowned sculptor working in Lego bricks. Brick Planet has been an immediate success with guests, and the venue reports a record-high attendance and a Net Promoter Score of 89.
Lisa Windom, preserve manager at Springs Preserve, says: “We are thrilled to bring Brick Planet to the Springs Preserve, where it has already proven to be one of our most successful exhibits to date, drawing record attendance this summer.
“Our long-standing partnership with Imagine has played a key role in making our traveling exhibits so impactful, and Brick Planet is another exciting chapter in that collaboration.”
Brick Planet is on show at Springs Preserve until 8 September. It will then embark on an international tour. The exhibition is now available to book.
Exploring humanity’s connection to nature
The exhibition, which spans 6,000 to 10,000 square feet, is produced by Imagine with science content developed by Science North. It includes over 100 sculptures made with 1.6 million Lego bricks, accompanied by hands-on interaction and discussion on Earth’s ecosystems.
Tom Zaller, president and CEO of Imagine, says: “Partnering with Sean Kenney and Science North to develop Brick Planet has been an incredible collaboration. We know it will capture hearts and minds while celebrating the creativity and beauty of our planet.”
Brick Planet combines art and science in an approach that ignites curiosity and inspires guests to see the world in a whole new way. Visitors will step into immersive environments inspired by Earth’s ecosystems, ranging from the vibrant savanna to icy polar regions, busy cities, and the deep sea.
Kenney invites guests to dig deeper as they explore the interconnectedness of nature. His complex, spectacular sculptures will bring audiences face to face with creatures such as a Polar Bear and Cubs, Disappearing Rhino, and School of Fish.
Last month, Imagine announced the launch of its latest exhibition, featuring the acclaimed Danish artist and sculptor Thomas Dambo. Titled Trolls: A Field Study, this travelling outdoor exhibition is the second Troll exhibition in Imagine’s portfolio, and will open on 21 June 2025, at Whipsnade Zoo in Bedfordshire, UK.
