ISE 2025 Esports Arena

New attraction highlights the potential of esports technology for creating immersive and engaging experiences

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the world’s largest AV and systems integration show, has announced the debut of the Esports Arena at ISE 2025, in collaboration with LVP – Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (GRUP MEDIAPRO), an international leader in esports competitions.

ISE 2025 is taking place at Fira de Barcelona, Spain, from 4 to 7 February. Registration is now open.

The new 1,000-square-metre Esports Arena, located in Hall 8.1, will highlight the vital importance of AV and broadcast technology in the thriving esports industry. This innovative attraction is set to bring live esports tournaments to life, providing attendees with a memorable and immersive experience that is fueled by cutting-edge technology.

Immersive, interactive experiences

Throughout the four-day event, the Esports Arena will host live competitions with professional esports players. Delegates can watch the matches from raked seating areas, with live commentary and gameplay available on Twitch. Each day will include a different well-known game, such as EA SPORTS FC25, MotoGP, and Rocket League, to provide a unique and entertaining experience for all attendees.

In addition, ISE guests will be able to compete against one another and with professionals, providing an interactive element to the event.

Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events, says: “ISE 2025 promises to be our most ambitious, inspiring, and impactful edition yet. Each year, the innovation and creativity of our exhibitors leave me in awe, and I’m eager to discover what exciting advancements they’ll showcase this time.

“The introduction of the Esports Arena highlights the incredible potential of AV technology to deliver immersive and captivating experiences for all who attend.”

Esports events set the standard for the use of cutting-edge AV and broadcast technology, pushing the limits of what is possible in live event production. The Esports Arena will feature the latest technology in a fully operational venue, that will broadcast live every day. Attendees can see the production crew at work, providing a unique technical perspective on the live production and broadcast of an esports event. This feature emphasises the importance of audiovisual technology in providing high-quality, immersive experiences.

In addition to tournament gameplay, the Esports Arena will include daily technology showcases, talks, presentations, and arena tours that will focus on the arena’s core audio, broadcast, and display components. Leading esports specialists and the LVP team will discuss technology innovation and integration, esports trends, and esports’ impact on live production, as well as traditional sports and entertainment events.

The Esports Arena at ISE 2025 demonstrates the AV industry’s expertise in leveraging innovation to deliver engaging and immersive experiences. Led by LVP and supported by contributions from other international technology leaders, it illustrates the transformative power of collaboration to drive the esports sector forward.

Through this initiative, ISE and its partners demonstrate a shared dedication to using technology to create unforgettable and meaningful experiences, providing an inspiring model for delegates from a broad range of industries.

Last month, ISE announced that Italian digital artist Quayola will be the keynote speaker on 5 February. During this session, delegates will gain insights into his pioneering projects, including the ‘Arborescent’ projection mapping experience, taking place at Casa Batlló on 1 and 2 February.
