The new attractions will launch in Summer 2026 as part of a new entertainment project in Montreal

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has revealed that it is launching three new entertainment concepts in Montreal next summer, in one of the company's most ambitious multi-attraction launches to date.

The new attractions, Electric Funfair, Energize!, and Krazy Karts, are set to reimagine competitive socialising in a combination of physical activity, interactive gaming, immersive storytelling, and advanced digital technology.

Each has been designed to optimise replay value, social engagement, and operator versatility, all signature Triotech qualities.

With time, the three attractions will combine to create a seamless, connected experience, powered by a video game-inspired persistence technology that monitors players across each attraction.

Social play

Triotech’s new Electric Funfair reimagines traditional carnival-style games with dynamic digital theming. This enables the attraction to transform completely for different atmospheres, audiences, or seasons.

With LED displays, physical game stations, and a unique software system, venues can change themes with just one tap. These include Haunted Funfair, Sports Night, and Kids Carnival, with upcoming IP-based environments.

Electric Funfair has been developed for social play and supports up to 120 players simultaneously in the same game room.

Configurations range from four to 12 game stations, and players can enjoy fast-paced mini-games, food, drinks, and friendly competition in sessions lasting from an hour.

Each game can accommodate four, six, or eight competitors, with friendly rivalry enhanced by a leaderboard.

This attraction is designed to fit into spaces ranging from 3,500 square feet, making it suitable for a wide variety of locations.

Drawing from Triotech’s sector-leading experience in developing content libraries for attractions like the XD Dark Ride, Electric Funfair offers long-term replayability and yearly content expansions.

Replayable experiences

Energize! is a multi-room interactive adventure where groups of two to 60 participants spend an hour or longer playing high-energy physical and cognitive challenges in multiple, uniquely themed game rooms.

A key feature is the integrated storyline, delivered in each room via large-format screens. This guides visitors through a story that evolves as it unfolds.

Players earn both individual and team scores, rise up the local, regional and international leaderboard, and come back to improve their ranking in the endlessly replayable experience.

Additionally, seasonal and IP-based storylines will enable operators to refresh the attraction periodically.

Energize! will be available in multiple layout formats, with inline or U-shape options, and various room sizes for optimum configuration versatility, and can be deployed in spaces from 3,500 square feet.

Adaptable layout

In a world-first innovation, Krazy Karts introduces an augmented karting system that can be installed in almost any standard building, including those with structural columns.

The games are designed with software that adapts gameplay to layouts and a variety of spaces.

This advancement is powered by Triotech’s dynamic mapping technology, which enables real go-karts to navigate complicated indoor layouts that include video-game-like power-ups, environmental projections, and interactive obstacles.

Bringing together the thrill of karting with the excitement of video games, Krazy Karts lets players race through projected worlds, dodge challenges, trigger power-ups, and experience gameplay modes like races, zombie chases, and others.

With this attraction, operators can use existing building footprints. This significantly reduces construction barriers and presents new real estate opportunities for high-energy indoor racing.

As part of a new entertainment project, all three attractions, Electric Funfair, Energize! and Krazy Karts, will launch in Montreal in Summer 2026. The location will be revealed in early spring 2026.

Earlier this year, Triotech received two awards at the MENALAC Awards 2025, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Best New Product – Arcade, VR, Redemption & Novelty category, and Best VR & Digital Experience Content Creator.
