Scruffy Dog Creative Group, a leading attraction experience design and build firm, has appointed a new Head of Marketing & Client Development Manager in China.
Scruffy Dog is pleased to announce that it has appointed Sophie Liu as the new Head of Marketing Asia and Client Development Manager. This strategic appointment will enable the company to continue its growth in the Asian marketplace. Liu will be responsible for helping Scruffy Dog to develop and build on its existing work in the region, as well as handling the overall marketing strategy for this market.
An impressive CV
Lui is based in Shanghai and joins Scruffy Dog from Premier Rides, where she held the role of Head of Marketing and Communication at Center of American States. In this position, she oversaw all entertainment-related projects in China, including themed entertainment.
Lui holds a BA in Economics from Shanghai University, as well as an MA in Advertising from Michigan State University. In 2013, she was responsible for the ‘Amazing Shanghai’ week, which took place at the Rockefeller Center in New York. Here, she promoted the city and its image to more than 350,000 visitors per day.

The London-based studio recently signed a multi-million pound deal with iP2Entertainment, to produce concepts and designs for family entertainment centres (FECs) around the world. Scruffy Dog will develop concepts for a variety of projects. In addition, it will deliver the schematics and detailed design packages for a number of FECs.
