Beaulieu Creative, a company that creates fully customisable floor and wall solutions for the attractions industry, aims to help brands and venues bring storytelling to life.
Each floor, wall, or turf is custom-designed from the ground up to match a specific space, message, and experience, all while adhering to circular, low-impact design principles.
From busy sports stadiums to themed entertainment locations, sustainable design starts with intelligent material selection, closed-loop systems, and durable constructions. Every project emphasises circularity, recycled materials, and environmentally friendly manufacturing practices.
Materials matter
Beaulieu Creative's carpets are crafted with ECONYL, a recycled nylon made entirely from waste materials, including discarded fishing nets and car windshield interlayers.
This results in high performance while reducing the carbon footprint by up to 90% compared to virgin nylon, for a product designed with a circular approach from the ground up.
Meanwhile, the firm's vinyl flooring is 100% recyclable and involved in a take-back programme that retrieves end-of-life materials for reprocessing into new floors. Each design is custom-made, whether it’s a rainforest walkway or a lava field, blending creativity with circularity.
Its artificial grass is also designed for a circular future, and is part of parent company Beaulieu International Group’s journey toward 100% circular flooring by 2030.
Solar-powered production, upcycled internal waste, and mono-material yarns (entirely polypropylene or polyethylene) make recycling feasible. Compared to natural grass, it reduces emissions, water consumption, and chemical maintenance — proof that sustainability can also mean simplicity.
When it comes to vinyl wall coverings, these are phthalate-free, low in VOCs, and produced in facilities running on 100% renewable electricity. The company's wall coverings combine closed water systems with reduced material input, without compromising colour, texture, or imagination.
Sustainability in engineering and design
Behind every project at Beaulieu International Group lies a dedication to sustainability that extends beyond marketing.
The company is committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2030 through Science-Based Targets, adopting 100% circular design across all divisions, and guaranteeing zero liquid discharge with closed-loop water reuse.

It invests in bio-based and mono-material innovations and maintains transparent reporting under GRI and SBTi frameworks. At Beaulieu International Group, sustainability is an engineering principle, realised one project, one product, and one partnership at a time.
For Beaulieu Creative, sustainability means designing wisely—turning materials into lasting assets that support creativity, not waste. Circularity is not a limit; it’s a creative challenge that encourages smarter, lighter, and more durable designs.
“True sustainability isn’t about slogans,” says Ildiko Czvek of Beaulieu Creative.
“We only create custom designs, because every space — and every impact — is unique. Our goal is to make sure great design doesn’t create future waste. We design for today, but think ten years ahead.”
Last month, Beaulieu Creative shared details of a project that brought 'Floor is Lava' to the Sportinnovatiehub in Bruges, serving as a living example of Active Design.
