Area15 in Las Vegas has announced the installation of dozens of new artworks, as well as a new immersive art quest across the entertainment district.

The Area15 Immersive Art Quest is a self-guided journey through Area15's 40-acre campus and art collection, which includes more than 48 sculptures and 30 murals.

Using a web-based app and guided by a robot named Aria-15, guests can choose from three experiences, as follows:

The full immersion option offers a museum-style narrated tour of Area15's art, stories and creative vision.

The express experience is a faster-paced tour offering quick highlights.

The all-ages adventure is, as the name suggests, a family-friendly journey through Area15's art.

Guests will view festival art cars, towering sculptures and vibrant murals on the tour, with each work paired with a podcast-style audio vignette, ranging from artist statements to curator interviews.

"Art tours have a reputation for involving polite nodding in quiet galleries – but not at Area15," said AJ Annunziata, head of creative at Area15.

"Ours honors the depth of each artist’s creation, discussing it in an approachable and imagination-sparking way.

"Plus, our collection breaks the mold by combining towering festival sculptures, tricked-out art cars and murals the size of buildings – which together comprise the largest permanent collection of monumental festival art on the planet.”

Highlights across the immersive art quest include the Dream Portal by David McCarty; a shimmering crystalline archway of iridescent light, and Shogyo Mujo by Bart Kresa Studio & Josh Harker; a luminous 3D skull.

Guests will also see Window into the Multiverse by Eric Vozzola; a vibrant, surreal mural, Mechan 11 by Tyler Fuqua; a towering steampunk robot, and Vortex Portal by Cree8 Studios; a rusted steel capsule.

747 by Ken Feldman is a surreal, suspended Boeing 747 installation, while Mr. Fusion by Henry Chang is a futuristic metal sculpture.
