Multisensory journey through the City of Light
Imagine Paris takes visitors on an emotional, historical, and scientific journey that provides a multifaceted experience of the city’s rich history.
The exhibition is divided into three parts, providing a consistent experience that immerses visitors in the French capital and its vibrant past.
The Immersive Area: A Visual and Sensory Journey Through Paris
Visitors will experience 19th-century Paris during its artistic explosion. Advanced projection technology produces a 360-degree experience, transporting guests to iconic locations, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Invalides, and Concorde Square.
This section showcases iconic artworks from renowned Parisian museums, including digital copies of artwork and documents from the Musée Carnavalet collection, presented in collaboration with Paris Musées.
The Discovery Room: History and Knowledge Unveiled
The second space will help visitors better understand the sites and artworks featured in the immersive environment. This area explores Paris’ history, including the Golden Age, Universal Exhibitions, and the building of the Eiffel Tower.
The informative panels offer historical and cultural insights into the architectural and artistic wonders that make Paris remarkable. The educational element adds context to the sensory experience, providing visitors with an in-depth understanding of the city’s past and present.
The Interactivity Room: Be a Part of Paris
During the last part of the show, guests are encouraged to participate in the city’s culture. Attaching padlocks to the Pont des Arts bridge is a popular ritual in Paris and represents love or friendship. To preserve the Pont des Arts bridge, this practice can no longer be done. However, the exhibition allows visitors to continue this tradition.
Imagine Paris has been designed to appeal to visitors of all ages, including families, individuals, and groups. Its flexible design enables it to be hosted by various venues, such as museums, cultural venues, immersive galleries, convention centres, shopping malls, and others.
