SPREE Interactive, a leading provider of active free-roam VR experiences, has brought its family-friendly X6 VR Arena to tiNiWorld Entertainment Center in Vietnam, where the VR experience is helping the operator to tap into the 6 to 12-year-old demographic. Last month, the X6 VR Arena brought an additional 2,500 players through the doors.
tiNiWorld has brought in a pay-per-play pricing model for the VR Arena, in addition to the FEC’s entry charge. This means that the operator is able to generate additional revenue on top of its existing portfolio of kid-friendly attractions.
The X6 SPREE Arena acts as an upsell attraction for tiNiWorld and helps to fulfil the centre’s mission of building a community setting where kids can come to grow, learn, and have fun together by providing an immersive, high-throughput attraction.
An engaging experience for young visitors
tiNiWorld is a pioneer in the industry for location-based entertainment in Vietnam, with years of experience and a thorough understanding of kids.
“I was convinced to choose SPREE Interactive based on the magnetism of kids towards playing the SPREE Arena, including my daughter who kept begging me to play again and again at the IAAPA Expo!” says Thomas Joseph Ng, chairman of NKid Group, owners of tiNiWorld. “It is the only VR entertainment solution specifically designed for younger kids to have fun and explore new worlds, leading with its light-hearted content and controller-less fun”
Like an increasing number of SPREE Interactive’s clients throughout the world, tiNiWorld is confident that the SPREE Arena will bring in more kids than ever to their location. The operator knows that an ideal approach for children to grow is for them to gather life experiences through immersive full-sensory activities, interacting with the world around them. The SPREE Arena makes it possible for this to happen by giving kids a place to explore new situations while being safe in a play area.
The X6 SPREE Arena has a capacity of up to 120 guests per hour and sits on a compact footprint. It is also simple to use and low-cost, with an easy-to-use ‘click and play’ VR system that only calls for one operator. It comes with SPREE’s growing portfolio of family-friendly games and seasonal add-ons.
SPREE Interactive recently exhibited at DEAL Expo in Dubai, where it showcased its VR Playground, alongside the latest VR shooter game, Splish Splash. The team sold multiple systems during the trade show.
