We learn about the company's new AI-powered solution, designed to deliver real-time, relevant business insights and streamline daily operations

ROLLER, the all-in-one venue management platform, will be unveiling a new AI-powered solution at IAAPA Expo 2025. ROLLER iQ is an industry first and a new way for operators to interact with technology in an AI-powered world.

Over the past fifteen years, ROLLER has been developed with the support of a dedicated community, all striving to simplify business operations. The aim is to equip operators and creators with the necessary tools to grow, enhance guest experiences, and succeed in a competitive environment.

In recent years, the company has furthered that mission by developing a connected ecosystem that transforms an operator’s data into its greatest asset. This includes advanced analytics, the Benchmark Report for industry comparisons, and the Pulse Report, which gathers guest feedback and loyalty insights.

Recognising the challenge operators face in finding time for growth, ROLLER continues to develop tools that provide actionable intelligence at the point of decision-making.

The launch of ROLLER iQ represents the latest significant step in this journey.

Presenting ROLLER iQ

ROLLER iQ is an AI-powered assistant integrated directly into the ROLLER platform, designed to deliver real-time, relevant business insights and streamline daily operations.

It quickly interprets data, answers queries, and helps users take immediate action, making intelligence seamless within the workflow.

Speaking about the specific need that ROLLER iQ was designed to meet, CEO Luke Finn says:

“At ROLLER, we spend a lot of time listening to our community of operators. One thing we’ve heard again and again is that while venues have access to more data than ever, finding time to make sense of it isn’t easy.

"They’re busy running their business, leading their team, and serving guests- it’s hard to step back and analyse the numbers.

“ROLLER iQ bridges that gap.”

Essentially, it takes the complexity out of data and turns it into practical insights, ready when operators need them.

“For us, this launch is a major step forward in our mission to make running a venue easier,” adds Finn.

“ROLLER iQ brings intelligence right into the tools operators already use every day, so they can spend less time searching for answers and more time growing their business.”

From analysis to action

Working in a demanding industry, operators can struggle to find time to prioritise growth. “Operators have an incredibly challenging job, where they’re juggling so much every day. But what often gets pushed aside is the time to look ahead to think about what’s next,” says Finn.

ROLLER iQ helps by surfacing the insights that matter most, right when operators need them:

“It helps you see what’s working, spot opportunities, and make confident decisions faster, freeing up time to focus on the bigger picture.”

The AI-powered tool is designed to help operators move from analysis to action in seconds. “Often, operators don’t realise a trend is forming until much later, maybe bookings are slowly dipping midweek, or guest sentiment is shifting after a new process change.

“The challenge is knowing what to look for and finding the time to dig into it.”

With ROLLER iQ, operators can simply ask a question like, “How are bookings trending this month vs last month?” or “What are guests saying about check-in lately?” and get the answer instantly, in plain language.

“It takes the uncertainty out of knowing where to start, helping venues uncover what matters most and act on it quickly, without needing to sift through multiple reports.”

The next step in a connected journey

The ROLLER team has introduced several ways to help operators make smarter decisions. In 2024, the company launched Analytics, developed in partnership with Google BigQuery, which provides operators with visibility into their own data.

This was followed in 2025 by the Benchmark Report, which allows users to understand performance across the industry, and the Pulse Report, which captures guest sentiment.

ROLLER iQ is the next step in that journey, says Finn:

“It builds on those foundations by bringing intelligence right into daily workflows. Instead of spending time searching for answers or switching between reports, iQ surfaces what matters most in the moment, helping operators move from insight to action faster than ever before.”

Price Rules and Channel Management

In addition to ROLLER iQ, new features such as Price Rules automate pricing adjustments to maximise attendance. At the same time, Channel Management ensures an attraction’s offerings are visible and bookable across multiple platforms, thereby increasing guest engagement and driving business growth.

“Price Rules is designed to be smart, but also easy to use,” says Finn. “You can set it up to automatically adjust prices based on demand, time of day, or group size, and then let it run quietly in the background.”

The important part is that operators stay in control, he adds:

“You decide the parameters, and the system helps optimise your sessions and fill quieter periods, without compromising guest experience.”

Meanwhile, Channel Management ensures experiences are bookable everywhere.

“Guests are discovering and booking experiences across more platforms than ever, and that’s where operators need to be. Right now, Channel Management connects venues to major booking channels like Google Things to Do, Viator, Klook, Tiqets, and GetYourGuide.”

“Channel Management helps operators stay connected across all those places. It keeps your information accurate and up to date everywhere guests are searching, so you never miss a booking.”

Shaped by ROLLER customers

The ROLLER community was absolutely central in shaping the new solution, says Finn.

The idea for ROLLER iQ came directly from conversations with operators, understanding what slows them down and what would help them move faster.

“Many told us they wanted to use AI but found generic tools didn’t fit their world. So, we built ROLLER iQ specifically for attractions, shaped by real feedback from the people who use ROLLER every day.”

When it comes to ensuring ROLLER iQ remains relevant and trustworthy as AI evolves, he says:

“The key is keeping it focused on real needs. ROLLER iQ isn’t a generic AI tool; it’s built specifically for the attractions industry.

"It understands the context of your business, things like bookings, revenue, and guest experience, so the answers you get are relevant to you.

“That’s what makes it genuinely useful.”

The team is also careful in how they build and deploy new technology. “Every insight and recommendation is explainable and designed to support the operator, not take control away.

“Our goal is to make AI something operators can trust because it helps in a clear, transparent way.”

More to come

This is only the start, says Finn. Alongside the launch of ROLLER iQ, the team is continually enhancing ROLLER to be faster, simpler, and more powerful, driven by operators’ needs and a success-focused roadmap.

“ROLLER iQ is the first layer of intelligence, but over time, we see it touching every part of the platform. From predictive staffing suggestions to revenue forecasting and guest experience optimisation, intelligence will become part of every decision.”

The long-term vision is to use intelligence to drive sustainable growth for operators, helping them spot opportunities faster, make more intelligent decisions with confidence, and continue delivering experiences that keep guests coming back.

“Our goal is to make ROLLER the most intuitive and supportive platform for growth in the attractions industry.”

ROLLER iQ: trained for the attractions industry

Finally, for those who are unsure about integrating AI into their operations, Finn says:

“I completely understand that hesitation. When you’re running a venue, you need to know you can rely on the tools you use, and with AI, that trust has to be earned.

“That’s why we’ve built ROLLER iQ to be transparent, accurate, and grounded in real data. It’s specifically trained for the attractions industry, so the answers it provides are relevant to your business and your guests.

“It’s like having an extra team member who never sleeps, knows the business inside out, and helps operators make faster, smarter decisions. It takes complexity off their plate so they can focus on what they do best: delivering unforgettable guest experiences.”

Attendees at IAAPA Expo 2025 can meet the team and be the first to see ROLLER iQ in action. The company will be at booth #3047 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from 18 – 21 November, showcasing how ROLLER’s all-in-one platform helps venues simplify operations, grow revenue, and delight guests.

Visitors to the booth can explore the full suite of venue management tools, including online booking, party management, memberships, digital waivers, reporting, and more. Meetings during the trade show can be booked via email.
