Real Madrid and Apple have revealed a new strategic collaboration designed to redefine the matchday experience both inside and beyond the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

Club president Florentino Pérez and Apple’s senior vice president of services, Eddy Cue, toured the stadium recently ahead of the release of an upcoming immersive documentary created exclusively for Apple Vision Pro, as reported by GQ.

Scheduled to debut in 2026, the film was shot with over 30 depth-enabled Blackmagic cameras during Real Madrid’s Champions League match against Juventus. The project aims to immerse fans at the centre of the action, providing an unprecedented, spatially immersive view from tunnel to pitch.

“We are opening a new era in the club’s digital transformation, an era that allows us to connect with our fans without intermediaries and in a much more direct, immediate, and personal way," says Pérez.

Digital transformation

The initiative is part of a broader digital transformation at the club. Apple Wallet is already streamlining matchday experiences for supporters, allowing seamless stadium entry, payments, and access to real-time information such as venue maps and food options.

Pérez says the partnership aligns with Real Madrid’s long-term vision to connect directly with its global fanbase. He highlights the “Infinite Bernabéu”, a virtual-reality concept developed with Apple that will allow supporters worldwide to experience the atmosphere of a live match as if inside the stadium.

Cue notes Apple’s expanding presence in sports, from MLS Season Pass to improved broadcasts and real-time data via Apple Sports. Both leaders see the collaboration as a milestone in blending physical and digital engagement at one of the world’s most iconic venues.

According to Pérez, the goal is simple: “to make the experience of a Real Madrid fan the best possible, wherever they are."
