The LOVErdis programme seeks to support nonprofits in their sustainability progress

Verdis Group, a sustainability consulting firm that specialises in helping organisations integrate comprehensive climate action plans into their operations, has opened applications for a free Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory as part of the LOVErdis programme.

The initiative is open to nonprofits in the US and provides a free GHG inventory to one selected applicant.

The GHG inventory lays the foundations for realistic, measurable sustainability progress. Verdis’ experienced team has delivered GHG inventories for a diverse range of organisations, such as multinational businesses, multi-county municipalities and large nonprofits.

Craig Moody, managing partner, Verdis Group, says: “We are incredibly committed to helping organizations act on this decisive issue. This type of work is more urgent than ever, and we want to make sure that the nonprofits in our communities are not left behind when it comes to climate action.”

Through this programme, Verdis Group aims to give back to the communities that support it, and offers time, skills, and charitable donations. It works with the year’s selected nonprofit to address its sustainability challenges, and also champions volunteering with company service days and time off for community service.

As part of its LOVErdis charitable giving, Verdis Group has donated to 22 local nonprofits since 2021. The recipients are selected by the company’s employees. The company also matches employees’ charitable contributions of up to $250 per employee each year.

Verdis Group recently reflected on its activities in 2024, a year of extraordinary growth and impactful projects. 2024 also marked the company’s 15th anniversary. During this time, it has worked with over 100 organisations across the US, gained B Corp Status, and helped establish more than 40 Net Zero and other reduction goals.
