Toverland also reports high guest satisfaction rates

For the third consecutive year, Toverland theme park has broken its own attendance record, which it attributes to continued investments in seasonal events and attractions.

In 2024, 1,174,000 visitors passed through the Toverland gates in Sevenum, the Netherlands. This is compared to 1,165,000 guests in 2023.

“That we are able to celebrate a visitor record for the third year in a row is a great compliment to our team,” said Jean Gelissen Jr, Toverland’s general manager.

“Every day, we strive to create magical and joyful experiences for our visitors. We achieve this by offering high-quality experiences in the park and by truly making a difference with our employees. This commitment is reflected in our high guest satisfaction rates.”

Toverland said the increase in visitor numbers is down to extended opening times and investments in seasonal events. This year, the park will refresh its summer event, Summer Feelings. It will also offer expanded opening times.

As for investments in the park’s attractions, a renovation of the Troy wooden coaster is underway, with a reopening scheduled for mid-April. Troy is the fastest, longest and tallest wooden coaster in the Benelux region.

“We’re carrying out this work with a dedicated team of 20 of our own employees, who have been specially trained for this task,” said Gelissen.

Ongoing investment in events and attractions

“Thanks to this maintenance, everyone will soon be able to enjoy many smooth rides on Troy. I’m extremely proud that we’re managing this project in-house.”

Later this year, Toverland will start building the Clubhuis (Clubhouse), a new carbon neutral office space for employees with a bistro, dance studio and sports facilities.

Additionally, Toverland plans to become a destination resort with the addition of on-site accommodation.

Currently, Toverland is made up of six themed areas with around 40 attractions and shows.
