Event Network, a leading operator of retail stores for experiential attractions in the US, has announced a new collaboration with The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center in
Georgia, US.

“Driven by a commitment to honor the sacrifices of America’s service members and their families, Event Network is honored to have the opportunity to extend the museum experience and to help preserve the legacy of service members,” says a spokesperson from the firm.

Leading military attraction

The National Infantry Museum was launched in June 2009 and features indoor and outdoor exhibits covering the history of American infantry soldiers from the Revolutionary War to today. Its galleries are focused on particular eras, for example the Global War on Terrorism and Cold War, and facets of the military experience such as the Armor & Cavalry Gallery and World War II Company Street. The museum also offers special events and programmes which take place year-round.

As one of the top military attractions in the country, the National Infantry Museum works to educate the public, preserve personal accounts and artefacts of military personnel, and offer distinctive recreational experiences for both military and civilian groups.

Brigadier General (Retired) Pete Jones, president and CEO of the National Infantry Museum Foundation, says: “Our mission is to preserve the legacy of Soldiers: from the very beginnings of our country to modern-day warriors. We remain steadfast in our effort to be a place any Veteran, active-duty Soldier, or family member can come and feel welcomed.”

The firm collaborates with a number of renowned military institutions, including the National Museum of the United States Army, National Museum of the Marine Corps, and Navy SEAL Museum in San Diego, as well as historic battleships and aircraft carriers on both coasts.

Its stores play a significant role in the visitor experience by offering ways for visitors to express gratitude to military families and to consider the sacrifices made.

Brigadier General Jones adds: “We look forward to partnering with a company that places quality and craftsmanship at the forefront of their priorities. Event Network works at a caliber that aligns with our own and together we will exceed expectations of the visitor experience.”

The National Infantry Museum Store reopened on 27 June with a refreshed aesthetic and a completely new range of original and bespoke products, including items tailored to Fort Moore soldiers.

Last month, Event Network announced a new partnership with Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Michigan, US, the top sculpture park in the country according to USA Today’s “10 Best Readers Choice Awards”.
