Emaar Entertainment is soon launching the UAE’s first high-end electric e-karting experience at the Dubai Mall, amid a growing trend for retailtainment attractions.
EKart Zabeel will be a new indoor retailtainment experience at the Dubai Mall, joining the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, VR Park, Dubai Ice Rink and KidZania.
Other attractions at the Dubai Mall include Hysteria, an extreme fear experience, Dubai Creek Tower, the Dubai Dino, Reel Cinemas, and the Dubai Fountain, a sensory experience.
The EKart Zabeel attraction will be a challenging course featuring the latest generation of electric go-karts for the ultimate e-karting experience.

Emaar Entertainment has released very few details about EKart Zabeel, but promises more will be announced soon.
Also opening at the Dubai Mall is a new ‘Mirror Maze’ attraction. According to WhatsOnDubai, hoarding has already gone up opposite the VR Park.
Meanwhile, Emaar and P&O Marinas are launching Mina Rashid, a Riviera-style coastal destination in Dubai.
The AED 25 billion ($6.8 billion) project will feature galleries, a theatre and a museum, as well as the Dubai Mall by the Sea – an elite waterfront retail, dining and leisure destination.

As for retailtainment, Dalma Mall has launched the Zeal Entertainment Centre in Abu Dhabi, with bowling, virtual reality games and F&B.
Meanwhile, Majid Al Futtaim‘s Mall of Oman is on track to open in 2021 with various retailtainment offerings. The company is also spending $4 billion on shopping centres in Saudi Arabia.
In similar news, retail outlets in Dubai and the UAE are turning to technology and new experiences as customers increasingly spend online.
