Expanding on his thinkpiece “Small is the New Big”, Bezark will discuss the rise of smaller and mid-scale attractions within an international context

He will be joined by the president of Shanghai Max-Matching Culture Development Co., Ltd. and TEA China Development Council chainman Owen Zhao, alongside the VP of Haichang (China) Investment Co. Ltd. Hongfeng Fang, and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Co. Ltd. director Peng Wang.

The event will feature a live Q&A session featuring questions submitted by Chinese LBE professionals, exploring the opportunities that “small” can present for the sector including retail developers and individual vendors.

Aiding recovery discussions

The Dialogues for Innovation online conference was launched by the TEA with content curated by TEA International Board member Evi Sari, to celebrate the establishment of TEA China earlier this year.

The virtual programme consists of masterclasses presented by TEA members with expert knowledge in individual subjects, followed by live interaction with industry practitioners.

The worldwide pandemic has sped up the pace at which new ideas are being brought to market, as cross-border business travel begins to recover. The conference’s unique format shares industry learning in both English and Mandarin, with bilingual hosts helping to deliver expert subject matter and ensure cultural relevance.

Creative director/creative development at The Bezark Company, Lacy Campbell says: “We are excited to extend the conversation about small and mid-size attractions to our colleagues in China. ‘Dialogues for Innovations’ is a valuable opportunity to hear what trends the Chinese market is observing right now and anticipating in the near future.”

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), recently announced Fantawild Holdings Inc. as the first of a number of year-round supporters of TEA China.
