The transformation of Saudi Arabia’s entertainment and leisure industry

Over the past few years, Saudi Arabia’s public sectors have undergone substantial transformations, attracting a lot of international investment and building brand-new, sustainable towns along its coasts and in its deserts. The complete revamping of the entertainment and leisure industry, however, has had the biggest impact of all the changes.

networking at SEA Expo

The country has announced that it will invest USD 64 billion in the market from 2020 to 2030. Experts forecast that the industry will develop at an annual rate of 47.65%. They also anticipate that the sector as a whole will be worth approximately USD 1.17 billion at the end of the decade.

A key goal of this year’s SEA Expo is to draw attention to these investment plans, trends, and initiatives. The event, which is taking place concurrently with the Saudi Light and Sound (SLS) Expo, will cover the spectrum of the country’s entertainment sector while firmly placing an emphasis on the future.
