Legoland Windsor unveils DUPLO Dino Coaster, opening March 2020

Legoland Windsor Resort has unveiled the world’s first DUPLO roller coaster. The ride is called DUPLO Dino Coaster and is set to open at the expanded DUPLO Valley in March 2020.

According to a press release, DUPLO Dino Coaster is debuting on March 14, 2020 at Legoland Windsor Resort.

The theme park resort has released first-look artist impressions of DUPLO Valley and DUPLO Dino Coaster.

The DUPLO Dino Coaster, previously referred to as DUPLO Dream Coaster, is designed for children aged between two and five years old.

Riders will board dinosaur-themed carriages before soaring around super-sized DUPLO dinosaur models amid a collection of palm trees.

Alongside the ride, DUPLO Valley will feature a new outdoor play area, with Brickville becoming DUPLO Playtown. This will boast a new rocket play structure, interactive play panels, rope climbs and slides.

DUPLO Valley is also adding a new puppet show at the DUPLO Puppet Theatre. The Frog Prince will tell the tale of Princess Money-Plenty, who is saved by James Pond.

In addition, the DUPLO Valley Airport has a new look with three new coloured helicopters, while DUPLO Valley boasts new super-sized DUPLO models.

DUPLO Valley, described as a pre-schooler paradise, includes outdoor water play areas, Splash Safari and Drench Towers, as well as family-friendly rides such as Fairy Tale Brook and DUPLO Train.

Meanwhile, the attractions and areas that will make up Legoland Water Park Gardaland have been unveiled, as has the official opening date, which is scheduled for May 28, 2020.

Legoland Water Park Gardaland will feature waterslides, rafts, swimming pools and DUPLO and LEGO bricks. Zones include Beach Party, Miniland, Lego Creation Island, DUPLO Splash, Jungle Adventure, and Pirate Bay.
