Disney has released more information about Snow White’s Enchanted Wish ride at Disneyland Park.
Disney Imagineers have reimagined Snow White’s Scary Adventures in Fantasyland. This ride was one of the original attractions when Disneyland opened in 1955. It remains the only ride-through princess attraction in Disneyland Park.
When Fantasyland was remodelled in the early 80s, the attraction was renamed from Snow White’s Adventures to Snow White’s Scary Adventures. But the attraction itself didn’t change much and still remained a scary story.
Not only has the ride been given a new name, but it also has new scenes and enhanced story details.
New technology brings the story to life
It features state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, laser projections and LED black lighting to bring Snow White’s ‘happily ever after’ to life. Imagineers have also installed a new animation system for the ride.
Snow White has been placed at the centre of this reimagining. Guests will now see Snow White dancing with the Seven Dwarfs in their cottage. They will even smell the apple pie that Doc is baking.
Snow White at the centre of the story

Shadow projections in the mines show the dwarfs hard at work singing the famous song, ‘Heigh-Ho’. Lighting effects in the mine make the jewels sparkle as riders travel through the story.
The exterior of the ride has also had an upgrade. It is now painted in warmer colours to make it feel happier.
Snow White’s Enchanted Wish is ready to welcome guests when Disneyland Park reopens. There is currently no reopening date for Disneyland Resort.
The theme park has recently launched a PSA campaign featuring characters from The Incredibles to encourage residents to follow COVID-19 guidelines.
Disney is working on several new types of robots, from those that can walk like cartoon characters to storytelling and stunt robots. These robots will revolutionise the Disney theme parks.
